The modern, ever changing landscape that is the Dub Techno scene is represented on the 2021 installment of the Futur[e]cho series by thirteen fantastic artists. Each gives their unique take on the genre, ranging from Deep Techno colliding with Dub Techno, to Ambient infused Dub Techno. A release for the ages and once again showcasing the talent hiding under the surface of the water.

Ten artists give their take on the Dub Techno and Deep Techno sound for this years release. New artists alongside series mainstays showcase the ever evolving sound of the Dub Techno scene. All artists showcase their unique take on the Dub Techno sound starting off with a pretty Ambient piece from Careful Handling, and going through different takes even including some Drone Techno from DeepWarmth, to the smooth sounds of Twin Peetz and MVar, and ending with a truly experimental take on the sound from Coppice Halifax.
Our last release of the year comes to us from new artist MVar. His first solo release on the label, and anywhere! He first released with us on Futur[e]cho 2018, and brings a very mature sounding Dub Techno release for his first on the label.
Our 100th main series release showcases how far we’ve come with the label over the years. Many, if not all, of the styles we’ve had over the years on the label are on display from many artists to have released on the label and friends of the label. Loads of different styles to please the listening palette
Our first release of 2018 comes from label artist aspect. showing off a bunch of tracks from the vault. A fantastic release that showcases his flare for the lush sounds of his style of Dub Techno on tracks such as sequence. [ transitive. ] and pulled. A must have release for any fan of Dub Techno.
Downscope is an artist we’ve followed for some time and when we were given the chance to release music by him we felt his music is a good fit. Minimal, Deep and dark tinges of the Dub Techno spectrum he produces making for a quite interesting sound. Atmospheric in a sense and one that sees the listener drifting off into a land of fog on Rites of Passage.
Our 2017 installment of our long running Dub, Deep and Ambient Techno series showcases a lot of new artists to the series, some returning favorites and a very modern sound. Showcasing the ever changing sound of Dub Techno, this one is sure to delight.
HiKE returns with a fantastic Deep Techno Ep on the label. Shades of Dub Techno throughout the release,focused more on the atmospheres in the Techno realm than anything else. Smooth atmospheres highlight this release. Another fantastic HiKE release and an artist we’re proud to release.
DRGBL5 is a new addition to the label with a clean sounding Techno EP with Dub Techno overtones. Slow, broading rhythms highlight this fantastic release. Another good Russian artist to add to the label.

This year’s release showcases a more modern sound in the world of Dub Techno and Ambient Techno. Fifteen tracks highlight the ever changing sound of Dub Techno, blurring the lines at times between Dub Techno and Ambient Techno.
