HiKE returns with a fantastic Deep Techno Ep on the label. Shades of Dub Techno throughout the release, focused more on the atmospheres in the Techno realm than anything else. Smooth atmospheres highlight this release. Another fantastic HiKE release and an artist we’re proud to release.
Futur[e]cho returns to the label once again for the 2016 installment. Pairing big named artists with up and comers in the Dub and Ambient Techno scene. This year’s release showcases a more modern sound in the world of Dub Techno and Ambient Techno. Fifteen tracks highlight the ever changing sound of Dub Techno, blurring the lines at times between Dub Techno and Ambient Techno. We are proud to be able to bring such talented artists together for another fantastic and mesmerizing release in the series.
After two successful EPs, Outward Roots is pleased to finally release their first LP titled “Moonlit Trees”.
Almost as if it came straight out of the 90s Techno scene alongside albums like AFX’s “Selected Ambient Works” & LFO’s classic “Frequencies”, this album combines lush soundscapes with stripped back, to-the-point drum patterns making this album minimal dance music in the purist form.
SHiMOTET joins the ever growing roster with a release that could be described as light, airy and playful. A unique sound that sounds as much as Ambient Techno as it does Downtempo. Giving 4 tracks for his first release on the label, and hopefully not the last, we see the sound change from Ambient to Ambient Techno to Downtempo ending with a chopped up vocals infused playful and light Techno track.
Our 2015 edition of Futur[e]cho brings in a lot of new faces, retains some old ones and has a great feel of atmospheric techno. Everyone went above and beyond what we thought possible for tracks and this release will for sure surprise you. Lots of artists try out new styles to entice the listener that the music can always change as time goes by. Futur[e]cho 2015 is more of a chilled out bliss release, but still very much fits the themes of the series. So why don’t you take a journey along with us?
Our 21st album on the label was the first solo release from Textural Being on the label. Combining an ever changing sound, this was a popular release on the label. Sage has always felt he could have done better on the mastering, so here is the official remaster of Proximity. The original release came with a bonus remix Ep, but that is not here.
Our first Cd release is from the man who wears many hats, but keeps gracing our label with remixes and appearances in the Futur[e]cho series. Coppice Halifax brings 5 tracks of Deep Ambient Techno that also fuses in the feeling of Drone. Call it what you will, this is sure to please fans of the label, and if you don’t already know who Coppice Halifax is, a new artist to dive into.
