This project was started in 2008 and was finished early in 2009 while being headed by James Shain, the head of Cold Fiction Music. This album is full of songs that are inspired by the games of Nicklas ‘Nifflas’ Nygren. The 3 games of Nifflas’ that inspired these songs are Within a Deep Forest, Knytt and Knytt Stories. Nifflas sees his games as works of art and not just games and so are the songs that make up Crystal Greenlands. Nifflas is honored to have an album that is a collection of songs that are inspired by his games. The music ranges from ambient to ambient breaks to jungle and beyond.
